Sikah Seekah Segah
Deep maqam of love. From the Persian for “third step” (se = 3 keh = step).
The root note of sikah maqam is E quarter tone 
. This maqam is derived from Rast transposed up a third so the root is E quarter. The B is played flat when descending and quarter when ascending. The A is played natural in sikah, however the A flat is a common variation – modulating to the maqam hozam.
